One ensemble. Five composers.

EKKÓ — Kwartludium Performs Faroese New Music is an international commissioning and concert project produced by Galdra, bringing together Faroese composers and the Polish ensemble Kwartludium in a shared artistic exploration of nature, landscape and the human experience.

The project commissioned five new chamber works, each offering a unique response to the relationship between humanity and the natural world. Premiered in 2025 during a concert tour across the Faroe Islands, the works form a multifaceted portrait of contemporary Faroese composition while creating a lasting addition to the international repertoire for chamber ensemble.
